Cantor Heather Batchelor is a graduate of the Cantorial School of the Jewish Theological Seminary in NY. She hails from Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a combined degree in Jewish Studies, Slavic Languages and Literatures, and East European History. She is a KlezKanada regular and has performed with the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre.
